LEGO Ideas Spirited Away

Enter the fantastical world of Spirited Away with the LEGO project.

Creator legotruman developed the LEGO Ideas Spirited Away project and we were sold the first moment we looked at it.

When it comes to creating new LEGO ideas project, there is no easy task. Especially when it comes to basing it on a animated movie or series. You can hit it out of the park, like the Airbender project or miss sorely.

This project is set at 2,612 pieces and will include the following 8 rooms in the iconic Bath house.

– Help Kajima keep the baths warm in the Boiler room
– Ride dragon Haku through the night sky
– Revisit the iconic train scene with Chihiro and No face
– Enter Yubaba’s office, but beware of any contract from the witch
– Have a rice-ball in the beautiful garden with Haku
– Join No face’s big feast! Watch out for its growing mouth and appetite
– Encounter the Radish Spirit in the bath-house elevator
– Meet the grateful River Spirit, showing a big smile after being freed from pollution

The following characters will be included, either in minifigure or LEGO brick form.

– Chihiro in T-shirt (minifigure)
– Haku human form (minifigure)
– Chihiro/ Sen in uniform (minifigure)
– No face (two versions)
– Haku dragon form
– Kajima the boiler room master
– Yubaba the witch
– Radish Spirit

Here are a few images to give you a better idea of what they created.

JG13 Gamer and I enjoyed the movie and we were thrilled when we saw this project. The creators did a good job of picking the iconic scenes to bring you back into the movie.

They made the right move by allowing the rooms to be separated from the bath house for ease of use. Hands down our favorite scenes involve No Face.

We would have preferred to see more minifigures but that would not turn us off from picking up this set if it gets made.

At the time of this article, the LEGO Project had 5,616 supporters with 770 days left. Make sure to head over and show your love if you like the project.
