Logan Review: Snikt And Much More

Logan has become a man many of us never expected to see on the big screen and we loved it.

We had a chance to catch the the newest Wolverine movie on the big screen and wanted to share our thoughts with our Logan review.

The  basics of the  movie is simple. It takes places in 2029 and we get to see what has become of Logan, Xavier, and the mutant kind. The Reavers are hunting down a young mutant girl who has similar qualities to our favorite X-Men.

Before we delve into the meat of the review, just know we will do our best to keep the it spoiler free.

The first thing we are going to discuss is the violence. Yes, there is violence. Plenty of it but it fits. It is not violence for the sake of having it. This is what fans saw in there head when Wolverine was tearing through Stryker’s soldiers. There are some graphic use of their claws but it is to be expected.

Hands down, Logan is the best performance we have seen of Jackman as the lead characters. He opened our eyes in X-Men but this time around he opened our minds and heart. This image of Logan is going to stick with us.

Close behind him is Patrick Stewart and Dafne Keen. Stewart gives us another several layers to Xavier and makes you want to be the one to take care of him. Keen may not say much until the last half of the movie, but she does enough with simple looks.

Donald Pierce, played by Boyd Holbrook, did a great job adding the right amount to the character to where you are glad to see how he ends up.

Overall, the movie plot is simple in the sense it moves from point A to point B. But what drives the movie is all of the small interactions along the way

There is not too much to complain about Logan except maybe the tease of what happened in West Chester. While it is not necessary for us to know the details of what transpired, it still bugs at us.

We are excited to see where things lead from him, especially when it comes to the New Mutants. On the surface, this looks like the end of Jackman’s reign as Logan but one can never tell with comics.

If you are a fan of Wolverine, then make sure to see this amazing movie on the big screen. Logan is going to make a strong run at being the best movie of 2017.

On a side note, make sure to be there when the movie starts, otherwise you are going to miss the Merc with a Mouth.

If you had a chance to see the movie, share with us your own Logan Review.
