The decision to turn someone is in your hands.
The mobile game, Man or Vampire, by creator Hidea is an interesting blend of turn based mechanics complimented with intriguing graphics that will keep you locked in.
Outside of SWGOH, we have been bored with mobile games. Either they were brain dead entertainment, or ones like Marvel Strike Force that require you to bust through a pay wall. That changed when we stumbled across this recent entry.
You find yourself in Paradise. A mysterious world where dead souls gathers. Now that the end of the paradise is imminent because of the vampires who were ruling the frontiers, only the king of the paradise can save it from the crisis. Now, an adventure is to become the king of the paradise begins.
At it’s core, this game is a turn based role playing game. When you engage in battle, a grid display lays out for you where you can go and what attacks you can do in certain spots. It give you the information and it is your job to make the right decision.
At first we were not sure if we were going to enjoy the system they laid out. We thought it would limit our creativity but it did not. In the end, we had a better understanding of how the characters worked, along with others.
Most of our love for the game goes to the graphics. They did a solid job of blending the old style with the environment. It was the simple things, like your torch running out of fuel that helped add ambiance to the game.
Lastly we loved about this game is the tutorial. The design of it is simple and it helps you understand the mechanics from the beginning.
There are micro transactions in the game, but so far we have not felt the need to buy any to progress. This is something that is unique in a good deal of the mobile games out there.
Overall, we have enjoyed this game and plan on continuing to play this for some time.
