Avengers Age of Ultron Review: Run, Don’t Wait

Avengers Age of Ultron released across the US today and we want to share with you our thoughts in this sequel from the Marvel Universe. For starters we are going to do our best to not give out any spoilers.

As expected the movie was filled with action and had some nice fight scenes where we got to see Avengers team up for special moves, like Iron Man and Captain America from the first movie.

We also like how they did bring in some new characters like Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver without bogging down the movie. But hats off to the team on bringing Vision to life. It was nice to see a different villain from Loki (Sorry fans) at the helm and James Spader did an excellent job with him.

You could see Joss Whedon’s stamp on Avengers Age of Ultron with the dialogue and the build up throughout with their characters. Some seemed flat, like Iron Man and Captain America, but they did a great job with Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Hulk.

One of the negatives I had with Avengers Age of Ultron was the outcome with the Hulk. While I would have preferred it resulted in small chance for World War Hulk. I know it is not reasonable due to who owns the rights. I do think they could have done something different.

Another negative is it seemed like they were trying to fit too much into this movie. I did what Marvel is doing with their universe but they need to make sure not to let things get too loaded.

Oh, do not wait around until the final credits to see if there is any hidden gems. They did give us a quick glimpse during mid-credits but that is it.

Overall, we do feel it is worth plunking down your money to see Avengers Age of Ultron on the big scene.

If you had a chance to see it, let us know what you think about it.
