We are days away from celebrating a day dedicated towards the Dark Knight and everything he has delivered since 1939.
Though he likes to live in the shadows, Batman is going to be front and center this weekend thanks to DC Comics and their Batman Day 2016.
Honestly, this day snuck up on us but thanks to an email blast from DC Comics, we are on full alert.
To help celebrate the history of the man, there are countless local events going on. We have several libraries and one of our favorite comics locales, Time Travelers, holding events near us. If you are not sure what is going on, you can check out where your Batman Day Events are taking place.
Aside from these events, several retailers are offering some good sales on Batman related item. Barnes and Nobles is going to off 60% off of graphic novels. Amazon and ComiXolgy is getting into the mix too.

We have shared our thoughts on the Caped Crusader and he is right there at the top of the DC Hero list for us. We are lacking in the graphic novel department so we may take a look at what we can pick up this weekend.
