Our April COM features an interesting one from DC Comics, Batman TMNT # 5 where the turtles pair up with the Dark Knight to taken on the villains who control Arkham Asylum.
The fifth issue kicks off with Gordon meeting Batman and a pair of TMNT, Leonardo and Raphael. This is when they learn the Foot Clan has taken over Arkham. The good guys get a bonus thanks to some help from one of Batman’s longtime villains.
One entertaining part of Batman TMNT # 5 occurs when the rest of the turtles and Casey Jones have an encounter with Damien, aka Robin, who is none too happy about strangers being in the Bat Cave.
While we typically do not share the ending, it was hard not to keep out an image of what happens to the Penguin. Wonder who he crossed to be turned into an Emperor? Makes you wonder what else is in store for those in Arkham.
We are looking forward the direction this takes with Batman and the TMNT taking on Shredder and the Foot Clan.
