The Dark Knight.
We continue out series on our favorite heroes or villains from the world comics with a look at the man who is at the top of the DC universe, Batman.
We have already discussed Iron Man and Carnage from the Marvel so we thought Batman would be the perfect one to cover this month.
Brief History
We all know the story. Bruce Wayne watched his parent murdered then went on to hone his body and mind to fight crime in the city he calls home, Gotham. We have seen him go up against various villain during his career and a host of heroes who fought along his side. We have seen him lose friends and those he cared deeply for while fighting for the city he holds close to his heart.
Positives
The one thing we find most appealing about the Dark Knight is the resourcefulness. Sure a lot of it is due to the amount of money Wayne has at his disposal but there have been times in his career where he has achieved things no one else could. A close second would be the arsenal of gadgets he comes up with.
Negatives
The biggest negative we see for Batman is the not so much about the character but about the fan alliance. It has gotten to the point where they believe there is nothing Batman can not do. As a result, this can grow quite tiresome on DC or Marvel fans who may not place him on the same pedestal.
Best Villain
Whether you prefer old school like the Riddler or newer ones like Harley Quinn, there are plenty to choose from.
For some, this would be an easy choice, the Joker. While he ended up being our selection, the rogues gallery of Batman villains is impressive.
Overall
What else can you say about the Dark Knight aside from him being the man. He fights crime with a purpose and does it in a way no one else can.
