The 2015 Holiday season is almost here and we thought this was the perfect time to talk about the must have video games for the young and old. Nielsen measured the anticipation levels for the numerous video games being released from October to December.
Based on there numbers, they published a list of titles any gamer would enjoy having.
We took a gander over the must have video games list and selected a few of the games we thought would be sure hits.
Call of Duty Black Ops III (Multi platforms) This first person shooter will take places in 2065, 40 years after the previous game in the popular franchise. There is a single player campaign and multiplayer, along with two confirmed Zombie storylines. Multiplayer mode is going to feature a new momentum-based movement system where players will get to use thruster packs to alter their movement.
Fallout 4 (Multi platforms) This first person / third person game features you as the Sole Survivor of Vault 111, who emerges 200 years after the Great War. You will be treated to similar gameplay from the franchise but see some new things in the form of split-piece armor system and an in-depth crafting system.
Star Wars Battlefront (Multi platforms) This must have video game is an action based third person shooter brings fans into the Star Wars universe. You will enter the game by choosing whether to play as a Rebel Alliance solider or an Imperial Trooper. Players will get to use a variety of land or air vehicles to travel the world along with a chance to participate in an online multiplayer.
Halo 5: Guardians (Xbox One) The newest installment in the popular first person shooter series features Master Chief and Spartan Jameson Locke.The game will a new multiplayer mode called “WarZone” which will combined PvP and PvE gameplay.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (Playstation 4) This compilation is going to feature the original three games from the Uncharted franchise with increased frames per second, better lighting, textures, and models. This is the perfect time to get back into the series and everyone who purchases the game will gain access to the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer beta version.
Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void (PC) The third and final installment in the Starcraft franchise, the game will be separately released from the other two. This means you will not need Starcraft II to run it. You can play the game either in single player or multiplayer mode.
Yoshi’s Woolly World (Wii U) Yoshi is back and this time in a side scrolling platformer where we see our hero in a world consisting of yarn and cloth as you battle the evil Kamek who has turned every other Yoshi into bundles of yarn. The game is going to feature compatibility with Amiibo figures.
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes (3DS) We previously discusses Tri Force Heroes where you and two of your friends as you try lift the curse on the Kingdom of Hytopia and venture into Drabland. You will have the chance to solve some inventive puzzles and collect various outfits to give you different benefits.
Of the games on this list, we only have one of them pegged as possible on our list, Star Wars Battlefront. I am sure it will change once Star Wars: The Force Awakens is released.
