Jurassic World Dominion: A Mess

Jurassic World Dominion

Will the dinosaurs reign supreme in the end or will we annihilate them?

Jurassic World Dominion was unleashed upon the world last week but the question was would there be enough time left for humans.

While we were pleased with the return of the franchise in Jurassic Lost World, they missed the boat with Fallen Kingdom

There were several positive with the movie.

We enjoyed the impact they showed on what may happen if dinosaurs and humans lived at the same time.  Well, at least the times when dinos were not trying to eat humans.

It was good seeing the original three characters on the screen together. They still have a decent chemistry together and not as stiff as some of the newer ones.

Though some things about the Black Market scene did not make sense, it made sense how something like that would evolve.

On the downside, there were some gaps in how the story progressed. Like dinosaurs never running out of energy or humans being able to do inhuman feats.

This leads us to the biggest issue we had, with the movie was coincidences. There are way tooo many of them.

Everything lined up perfectly for the story to fall in place. Otherwise Grady and Claire would have not found their daughter. The original three would have not met up with the new team. The epic dinosaur battle would have not taken place.  The evil company locust plague would have not been stopped.

Perhaps next time, the writers should be more concerned with a viable story line as opposed to making sure you craft the story around the desired outcome.

If you are a fan of the franchise, there are enough decent parts that you should see on the big screen. If not, then wait until you find it on cable.

Let us know what you thought of Jurassic World Dominion and if they should continue the franchise.
