Funko is thinking outside of the box by releasing their new Specialty Series figures.
Funko has decided to help out their loyal smaller retailers by creating a new Specialty Series line starting with Howard the Duck and Cosmo.
Each month they are going to announce two exclusives, one Pop! Vinyl and one Dorbz. What makes them so special is customers will only be able to purchase these items at specialty stores, local comic book shops, and qualified online retailers.
By doing this, Funko is encouraging us to help out our local or smaller retailers rather than heading out to the big box stores most people tend to visit for their Pop fix.
The series will be kicked off with a Pop! Vinyl of Cosmo from Guardians of the Galaxy and a Dorbz Howard the Duck.

While we are not a huge fan of the characters they selected to kick this new movement off, you have to applaud them for looking out for the smaller shops.
