Seconds to prepare for your next Adventure! Can you grab everything you need in time?
Last Second Quest, created by one of our favorite companies Wizkids, is an adventure game to challenge your decision making in split seconds.
Wizkids has impressed us before with other games like Doppleganger or Tournament at Camelot. We were curious to see if they could do it again.
The game is meant for 2 to 5 players with an average playing time of 20 minutes. The game will contain the following
- 28 Quest Cards
- 15 Adventurer Cards
- 4 Ready to Go Cards
- 10 Double-Sided Storage Mats
- 60 Unique Double-Sided Item Tiles
- 5 Locked Tokens
Each round a quest is revealed with a unique set of required and forbidden items, and you only have seconds to fill your storage board with as many of the required items you can, while avoiding the forbidden ones. Once everyone is done, you take turns defending your choices, then score based on how well you prepared, and how few empty spaces are left over. The best prepared adventurer wins!
The art on the cards looks interesting but at first glance, it does not seem anything groundbreaking. We love the concept of the double sided tiles which adds extra playability without increasing the amount of actual tiles.
The concept of having 15 different classes is promising, even thought we don”t know who was included. Curious if they went with the standard ones or tried something new.
We are definitely curious about this one. It might take us checking out the back of the box, but I could see us picking it up.
The expected MSRP is $34.99 and should be available by July 2020.
