Lego Ideas: 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea Nautilus

While checking the Lego Ideas website for recent projects, one of them stuck out to us immediately, the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Nautilus.

I will admit being drawn to this project right away but the more we checked it out, Power Boy began to find it fascinating.

The concept of the project is a creation of a model around 1,000 elements. The ship has been scaled down since it was first presented.  We are torn on what the size of the ship should be.

We would like to see the ship big enough to where you could have an interior to work around in, but then that might put the price on the higher end.

As for possible  mini-figures, who else would you want at the helm other than Captain Nemo. For me, the idea of being able to recreate the battle between the Nautilus and the giant squid gives me goosebumps. So I would be willing to forgot the mini-figures if it meant for the ship to be smaller.

If you dig the concept like we do, make sure to visit the link above and support the 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Nautilus concept. Right now there have around 147 days left until their window closes.

Once they reach the 10,000 mark for supporters, the idea is moved to be presented to Lego for consideration to manufacture the product.

Let us know what you think of it.
