LEGO Ideas Spooky Haunted Steam Engine

Spooky season may be over, but not for this LEGO Ideas project.

Creator Anjaris wanted to share his love for Halloween by creating a Spooky Haunted Steam Engine for his LEGO Ideas project.

We have been big fans of similar projects in the past like the Steampunk Airship or the Steamtown project. As a result we had high hopes for this one.

The set will contain a working train that comes with enough spooky accessories to make any Lego train a sure fire hit.In addition, there will be a skeleton engineer and headless horseman to help round it out.

Overall, we love the concept of this project. They picked the right combination of Steam Engine and tied it in perfectly with Halloween.

The face on the engine and the small details inside the control cab really stood out to us. Don’t forget the headless horseman either. 

The downside we see right now is the lighting would not be part of the project. We know this could be for more advanced builders, but we would love to see it included some way. We think this would be a big selling point. 

At the time of this writing, the Lego Ideas project has 180 days left with 395 days left.
