LEGO Ideas: The Karate Kid

Wax on, wax off.

Creator Delusion Brick created the Karate Kid LEGO Ideas project and you will feel drawn back into the original movie.

Thanks to the nostalgia factor, we made the decision to cover this project based on the original movie. Just like when we checked out the Sanderson Sisters cottage.

The project has a front and back yard with the house as the featured part.

The front yard showcases the area where Mr. Miyagi kept his collection of cars and his boat. The back garden is a beautiful landscaped featuring Asian elements, plants and trees. The house is composed of 3 rooms: one is the dojo, one is where the kitchen and the bedroom. The set will also feature mini-figures of Mr. Miyagi and Daniel.

The creator picked the perfect setting from the movie. The most compelling scenes took place within the confines of his yard and it makes sense to bring us back to it. There is enough detail, inside and outside the house to help feature the pivotal scenes

We think this is the perfect LEGO set to add to your collection. It is able to be a stand alone, but could be incorporated with other similar sets.

While it is not a major downside, we would have preferred to see a few move mini-figures with it. Perhaps some of the Cobra Kai students to create an interesting standoff scene?
