One of the more iconic images brought to the LEGO world.
Creator Legotruman went outside the box with their LEGO Ideas The Starry Night and we have to say they created something truly unique.
In the past, simple titles like the Tyrannocow or Tiny Fish Bowl caught our attention. We almost passed on checking this one out until we had a good look at it.
The creator wanted to recreate one of the most celebrated artwork by Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh. The 3-D design is based on the painting “The Starry Night” by van Gogh, painted in 1889.
This set will consist of 1,552 pieces. In addition, the set will come with a Van Gogh mini-figure complete with paintbrush and easel.
Here are a couple of images to get a better look.
You may have thought it would be hard to bring art into the LEGO world, but we think it is the perfect match with this painting. Perhaps it is Van Gogh’s style that makes it work along with the creative able of Legotruman.
The set seems viable for a variety of people. From parents wanting to introduce their children to the world of art or as a conversation piece to have on your desk.
This is one LEGO Ideas project we would pick up if it hits the magical 10,000 supporter mark. At the time of this article, it has 6,193 supporters with 774 days left.
