LEGO Ideas: Women of Computing

Most may not know who they are, but you should.

LEGO Creator 20tauri developed the Women of Computing LEGO Ideas project and it is something we should all appreciate. 

There are time when we prefer to take a step back and look at the more truly unique sets, like Dinosaur Fossils.

We found this amazing set while searching through the countless submissions on the LEGO ideas site.

The LEGO ideas project is going to come with five different settings that featured the following women and the impact they had on technology.

• Ada Lovelace
• Grace Hopper
• Jean Jennings Bartik
• Gladys West
• Annie Easley

The sets are solid enough with the detail to help tell the story, but what truly sold us is the talking point it could create. It has the ability to draw in anyone and can lead to a true learning experience.

At first glance we were not sold on it, but the more we reviewed the project we found ourselves adding this to our must buy set.

At the time of the article, the project has 3,678 supporters with 595 days left.
