LEGO Ideas: Working Waterfall

Working Waterfall

LEGO creators continue to amaze us.

On LEGO Ideas, creator LEGOParadise, decided to create a project with a working mechanism to mimic a Working Waterfall and we are more than impressed.

When we stumbled across this LEGO Ideas project, a few things ran through our head.

First, we had to check this out because it had a mechanism to simulate water. Second, we thought it would work perfectly with other sets like Pirate Bay or Castle in the Forest.

The waterfall will be set on a 32 x 32 base that houses the unique mechanism that funnels up light blue clear studs to pour out. In addition, it will feature the following.

  • Cave System
  • Mine
  • Campsite
  • Wildlife: Bat, Fish, and Eagle

Here are a few images of the LEGO Ideas project.

First thing, hats off to the creator for coming up with the mechanism to simulate falling water. It helps capture your imagination and would make it idea of any outdoor scene setting. One thing we would love to see is the inclusion of minifigures into the project. It would be like the cherry on top.

The only knock we could see on this is the amount of studs you would use for the falling water effect. If you head over to the link below, you can see it in action.

At the time of the article, the project has 7,523 supports with 700 days left. If you like the project, make sure to go show them some love.
