It will be hard to keep Marvel fans away from the box.
The Free Comic Book Summer Funko box was revealed and we have to say Funko nailed it with their last contribution.
We were all disappointed when Free Comic Book Day was postponed but there may be some light at the end of the tunnel. While this is not a store event, this is the next best thing.
The box will contain the following.
- 1 Pop! Marvel Loki
- 1 Pop! Tee shirt featuring 1 of 3 designs available exclusively through this bundle
- 1 Comic book of “Thor” #1 by Donny Cates, art by Nic Klein, detailing Thor’s first adventure as King of Asgard. The comic book will feature 1 of 3 possible variant covers.
- Common cover features Loki
- 1:4 cover features a design without the “Thor” logo
- Rare 1:10 cover features a purple background
- A chance to receive 1 of 25 Golden Tickets which is redeemable for a Funko Prize Pack including assorted Funko protos*
- A chance to receive 1 Pop! of 12 that have been signed by Funko CEO Brian Mariotti*
The Loki Pop figure is solid but nothing incredible. We do like the option of the three different Loki designed t-shirts. We are partial to the middle onf but would be open to any of them. Another interesting feature is the chance to win a Golden TIcket that gives you the chance to select a Funko Prize Pack.
We have to say this is the company making the best of a bad situation.
