Mezco Toys Batman Supreme Knight Darkest Dawn Edition

Supreme Knight Darkest Dawn

I am the night.

Mezco Toys is releasing their Batman Supreme Knight Darkest Dawn Edition to conclude the trilogy and what a way to close it out.

Though we have covered other Mezco Toys before, like Wonder Woman, this is the first time we took at a look at the Dark Knight.

The figure is 1:12 scale and the body will have 30 points of articulation. In addition, it will feature the following.

There will be three head portraits and eleven, yes eleven, interchangeable hands. The costume will come with two interchangeable capes, two interchangeable chest insignias, wrist gauntlets, knee armor, shin armor, utility belt with grappling gun holster, and tactical boots.

The accessories will consist of dual-blade folding karambit, five small and regular  batarangs, small and regular, batarang bundle, three grappling hooks (insertable into grappling gun), FX Smoke Plume, and display base with logo/display post.

Check out these images of Batman.

Hands down, this has to be one of the better Batman figures we have seen in recent years. The detail is spot on, but it really shines when it comes to the various accessories. You do have the ability to play around with a variety of poses.

While we do prefer the darker shaded armor, the color scheme works better on this figure and makes the detail stand out. A definite bonus feature is the FX Smoke Plume. It could be interesting to see how you could use it when setting up your display.

On a side note, eleven interchangeable hands is a lot. We do appreciate the detail in the design but man it would suck to lose one hand here or there.

This is a solid Batman figure to add to your collection, even if you are a casual admirer.

You can sign up for the waiting list at Mezco Toys. It will cost you $95 for the figure and see it ship sometime this month.

would you consider adding the Batman Supreme Knight Darkest Dawn figure to your collection?
