Sunday night, the WWE will showcase their next big event,Money in the Bank. The last two events we did okay with our predictions and look to continue the trend with Money in the Bank predictions.
Despite our success, we are still learning the ropes of the masterminds behind the WWE storylines. But we are having one heck of a time trying to figure it out.
Power Boy and I sat down during Smackdown and came up with our Money in the Bank predictions.
King Bad News Barrett vs. R-Truth The first event of the night should be an interesting one. Barrett, who we thought would be in the Ladder Match, should make short work of R-Truth who seems to be along more for humor than his in the ring skills.
Prime Time Players vs. New Day PTP have come on strong since Elimination Chamber and are going to make a hard run at the Cheat Day (name change courtesy of Power Boy). We would love to see PTP win but New Day has been a great job as the heel and the WWE is going to milk it.
WWE Divas Championship: Nikki Bella vs. Paige The battle for the Divas battle should be an interesting one but we do not see much of a change in terms of the title holder. The longer Bella holds it, the more work WWE can do in the background to fix the ranks of the Divas.
Intercontinental Championship: Ryback vs. Big Show We continue our Money in the Bank predictions with Ryback defending his title against the biggest man in the WWE. Should be a slobber knocker but there is no way Ryback is going to lose his title in his first big defense.
Champion vs Champion: John Cena vs. Kevin Owens The rematch from Elimination Chamber that everyone wants to see. Owens is on a roll and could springboard to the top of the food chain with another win over Cena. Some may want to see this but Cena has done too much for the company and his fans to lose two straight. Besides this sets up a tie breaker match next event.
Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Kane, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Neville, & Dolph Ziggler.One of the top matches of the night, we will get to see a fight of varying skills sets. Kofi and Neville should amaze us with some stuff from the ladder. There is one man poised to win this, Reigns. The only reason he doesn’t is if there is a change of heart and Sheamus sneaks away with the Money in the Bank.
WWE Championship: Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose The lunatic Fringe has been masquerading as the champ will have his hands full even if Rollins does not have the authority backing him. It would be nice to see J & J come out, only not to help Rollins. In the end, we think the WWE is going to continue with Rollins as the champ until Brock Lesnar comes back.
