The creative minds at WWE maybe lacking majors plans until Summrslam.
The 2018 Extreme rules card made seem like there are numerous opportunities for title changes but when you take a deeper look, you will see where it is lacking.
On the surface, this PPV seems more promising than the 2017 Extreme Rules, but there is not much there.
Before we share our thoughts, just remember we are far from experts and just love trying to figure out what they have planned for wrestling fans.
On to our our predictions for 2018 Extreme Rules PPV.
Baron Corbin vs Finn Balor
The Constable Corbin has been an interesting switch to the character so we can expect him to win and keep moving it forward.
Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakaura (United States Championship)
It has been a good run for Hardy with the singles title, but there is no doubt he drops it here. There are also rumors of the injuires he is dealing with so the time off can help. Enjoy your one title change of the night.
Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollings (Intercontinental Championship)
The Ironman match should be as entertaining as the feud has been. We would prefer to see Seth win the title back, but he is ready to move on, maybe back towards the title belt. Ziggler keeps his title.
The Bludgeon Brothers vs Team Hell No (Smackdown Tag Team Championship)
This match is interesting and you would think they would give the belt to the hot hands. We don’t think Team Hell No is around much longer so there is no reason why they will come away winners.
Carmella vs Asuka (Smackdown Women’s Championship)
Carmella is a fun heel and it looks like WWE is not ready to put the belt on Asuka. Why? We are not sure, but looks for James to step in and help the heel retain.
The Deleters of Worlds vs the B team (RAW Tag Team Championship)
The B team cosplaying the champions has been fun but there is not much to this feud. This means we don’t see much happening in terms of Wyatt and Hardy losing their belts.
AJ Styles vs Rusev (WWE Championship)
Rusev appears to be a heel for the creative mind but the fans cheer him like mad. This is one title we wished would change Sunday night, but we don’t see Styles losing until Summerslam.
Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jax (RAW Women’s Championship)
This rematch is nothing more than a carryover to end the feud between these two. Rousey will be present and will probably make sure her presence is felt. Bliss will retain.
Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley
This match feels meh at best and even worse there are rumors this is to be the headlining match. What they are trying to do with Reigns is weird and not sure it is working. We think this ends in a DQ depending how the fans react.
