Our Best and Worst 2019

Best and Worst 2019

2019 has come to a close, but not before we share our thoughts one final time.

At the end of each year we enjoy going back over the best and worst 2019 had to offer us when it comes to movies, video games, and more.

Whether you are talking video games, movies, or more the past year held many up and downs.

As with previous years, we made the selections based on our own experiences. For examples, though the movie, Cats, is a train wreck, we will not include it since we have not seen it.

On to our selections for the Best and Worst 2019.

Best Movie – The moment the movie was over, we knew Avengers Endgame would be hard to top in 2019. There was enough there to make you cheer for joy and shed a tear. There is no denying the impact Marvel movies have had with this as their crown jewel.

Worst MovieHellboy earned his spot. There was too much crammed into the movie. On top of it the CGI was bad at times and same for the plot of the movie. Shame since we had high hopes for this one.

Best Video Game – Borderlands 3 earns the top nod for this spot. While the story is meh, the game play feels like the game has progressed forward instead of going backwards. We are a huge of the movement mechanics.

Worst Video Game – Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville takes this honor.  The character balancing started off in a bad way. The game has gotten a little better with updates but there is still much work to do.

Best Pop Figure – This was a hard choice, but it comes down to GITD Molten Man. He looks solid in the daylight, but he really shines in the dark. One honorable mention is the FYE Exclusive Metallic Piccolo.

Worst Pop Figure – GITD Mysterio took this prize home. The Pop Figure looks good but the problem is they could have done so much more with the GITD feature. Like the mist inside his helmet.

Best LEGO Idea Project – The Tyrannocow made us fall in love the moment we saw it. How could you not look at this and have a huge smile on your face.

Worst LEGO Ideas ProjectSanta Claus Arctic Crawler was a good idea but it felt sort of bland without the tree or the man in red. It would have stuck out more if there was more color.

Hope you have a great start to the new year and we are looking forward to 2020.
