There are a few major movies coming out this year, but is there enough to keep you going all year?
This 2019 Must See Movies article will mark annual kick off to the movie season and we have to say we are a tad excited to see things play out.
Sure you can say we had some duds in 2018, like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdon, but overall last year was an amazing year.
To the point where we were not sure our 2019 Must See Movies list would be able to keep up. Let’s find out.
Glass (Jan 18th) The trilogy comes to a close and we are all in on this. We are curious to see how they bring all three characters together will keeping with the tones set in Unbreakable and Split.
The Lego Movie 2 (Feb 8th) The gang is back and this time they venture into space. It helps Lego Batman is back to in a supporting role. The movie has a lot to live up to after the first one.
Captain Marvel (Mar 8th) Could this be the first stumbling block for Marvel? Maybe, but even they middle of the road movies seem to bring something to the table.
Us (Mar 22nd) Personally, all I needed to see was that trailer. Enough said.
Dumbo (Mar 29th) This is one of the live-action? Disney movies we are excited to see this year. Hope it lives up to the earlier versions.
Shazam! (April 5th) DC looks to be opening their minds by taking a different approach to some of their movies. It paid off for Aquaman, on the fence if it will work for this Big Superhero movie.
Hellboy (April 12th) The trailer looks decent but that can be a ploy sometimes. We are willing to pony up a few bucks to see Red on the screen.
Avengers:Endgame (April 26th) Not sure what else we can say about this one. Ronin rocks.
Detective Pikachu (May 10th) Never thought we would be open to seeing this, but thank you Ryan Reynolds.
Brightburn (May 25th) The trailer caught our attention and so did the name attached to it, James Gunn. Looks interesting as heck.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (May 31st) This is how you build a movie world featuring kick butt monsters. Can’t wait for some Kaiju love.
Dark Phoenix (June 7th) The trailer looked decent and even more curious how they are going to close out this X-Men series. This does have potential to be one of the bottom movies of the year.
Toy Story 4 (June 21st) This could be a risky movie based on how the last one ended. Let’s see how it they hold up this time.
Spider-Man: Far From Home (July 5th) So many questions, most of which should be answered by the time this one comes out. Who can’t wait to see Mysterio on the big screen?
New Mutants (Aug 2nd) Horror movie mixed with a X-Men world? This has some interesting potential. Color us interested.
It: Chapter 2 (Sept 6th) We are more than eager to see Pennywise and the Loser’s club go head to head again. Wonder what new tricks we will see.
Joker (Oct 4th) Phoenix is the main reason why we are so interested in seeing this new interpretation of the Clown Prince. Could be the best DC related movie of the year.
Zombieland 2 (Oct 11th) This is an interesting one we did not see coming. Seeing the gang back together should be good, we hope.
Kingsman 3 (Nov 1st) The interesting series closes out the trilogy with their final movie. We can expect fast cars, creative fight scenes and weapons galore.
Jumanji 3 (Dec 12th) We were more than surprised with the last outing, but can they capture the same magic? Or is it going to be more of the same ole stuff?
Star Wars Episode IX (Dec 20th) The movie to end all movies. Or we have heard that one before. Can Abrams recapture the magic in this final go around or will it falter.

Well it looks like New Mutants is getting pushed back again into 2020.
