Our Most Anticipated Movies of 2018

Antcipated Movies of 2018

The movie slate for 2018 is full of so many good options but there are sure to be some stinkers.

We sat down at the plethora of movies coming this year and created a list of our most anticipated movies of 2018 from a wide selection.

We do have a wide variety of tastes when it comes to movies, but we do lean towards more action oriented ones. You may already know this if you saw our previous lists of movies to watch for 2016 and 2017.

A quick look at the list made us realized we might be a bit lighter in the wallet by the end of the year. However if  they all turn out to be worth it like LEGO Batman or IT was, we will be more than happy.

Here are our most anticipated movies of 2018.

Black Panther (2/16/18) Before we saw the trailers, we thought the movie was long overdue. We are even more convinced now that the Black Panther is going to be one of the top Marvel movies in some time.

Pacific Rim Uprising (3/23/18) The first movie was a fan favorite in the household and with the similar movies, like Godzilla and Kong Skull Island, we are even more excited for this one.

Ready Player One (3/30/18) We are behind a bit and did not know much about the movie until we saw the first trailer. JG13 Gamer picked up the book and you can be sure we will be there opening weekend.

The New Mutants (4/13/18) One can never have too many mutants. Even better when they take a different approach to it.

Avengers Infinity War (5/4/18) Ten years in the making.

Solo (5/25/18) We are on the fence for this movie. We did love the previous spin-off, Rogue One, this one seems like it might be harder to pull off.

Deadpool 2 (6/1/18) How can you say no to Deadpool?

Incredibles 2 (6/15/18) It is hard to believe it has been 15 years since the first movie.  Pixar should knock this one out of the park.

Jurassic World: Lost Kingdom (6/23/18) How can you go wrong with dinosaurs? We think they will avoid some of the previous issues.

Ant-Man & Wasp (7/6/18) Another surprise in the Marvel bucket of movies. Here is to hoping they can keep it light and give us some interesting size changing items.

The Predator (8/3/18) Legendary Dad has been a fan of the Predator series since the beginning. It will be interesting to see where the newest installment takes them.

The Happytime Murders (8/17/18) This movie was off our radar until we saw it on IMDB. The concept of puppets being the main characters looks interesting enough to get us to check it out.

Venom (10/5/18) Sure the teaser trailer did not show Venom in all his glory. But that is a good thing, since it means there is an actual story.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix (11/2/18) The X-Men franchise may be getting long in the tooth, but there is hope down the road thanks to Marvel. Let’s see what happens with one of the best story arcs.

The Grinch (11/9/18) This is the perfect time to see the Grinch to get you in the holiday spirit.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of  Grindlewald (11/16/18) The Fantastic Beasts world did a great job of introducing fans o a new world. The sequel should do more of the same.

Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 (11/23/18) We think Ralph has the chance to carry over some magic from the first one in this sequel.

Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse (12/14/18) The animated movie will have our attention for sure thanks to the webslinger.

Aquaman (12/21/18) Aquaman was a bright spot for the Justice League and it will be interesting to see how they expand his world for us.
