Wrestlemania XXXI, the biggest event of the year for WWE, will take place this weekend and there is a lot on the line for the company. Pull up a seat and take a look at our predictions for what we think will go down at Wrestlemania XXXI.
Fatal 4-way Tag Team Match – Shame the show is kicking off with what should be one of the most entertaining matches of the night. The USOs will make a serious run, but the champions, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro will hold on to the belts.
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal – There are a few we have with a solid chance to have a good showing, but we expect to see Ryback or Mizdow come away with a win.
The Bella Twins vs. AJ Lee and Paige – This match should run a bit longer since they bumped up the Royal to the pregame. Maybe that means AJ Lee and Paige will earn a hard fought win and garner more tv time.
Bray Wyatt vs. Undertaker – Power Boy has not had a chance to see Undertaker perform and I don’t think he will be disappointed. He should earn the win for his last match at Wrestlemania XXXI and launch Bray down a darker path.
International Championship Ladder Match – Though we have a handful of choices, it comes down to two, Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan. To help fuel the next PPV event, we see Ziggler coming away with the belt and the start of a biter feud with Bryan.
Randy Orton vs. Seth Rollins – While we would like to see Orton come out with a win, we think Rollins is going to make sure the deck is stacked in his favor and earn a cheap win.
John Cena Vs. Rusev – While Cena is not the headliner at Wrestlemania XXXI, it does not make this match any less importance. Rusev will experience his first loss in WWE as Cena takes home the belt.
Sting vs. Triple H – The match itself will not be anything special considering we are dealing with two men who are in their twilight years. This event will be a springboard for the upcoming storylines and next PPV. We expect Sting to come out on top and thwart the Authority’s plan at Wrestlemania XXXI.
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Regins – The household is torn over who is going to win this. I think Lesnar will retain the title after signing his extension with WWE. Power Boy feels Regins is going to get pushed to the top. We are probably both wrong and will see Seth Rollins invoke his Money in the Bank contract.
What are you thoughts on this and is there any match you consider a must-see?
