Aside from having a blast on our current mini-vacation, our friends showed us a really cool program called Scratch.
It is designed to teach children how to create their own interactive stories, games, and animations.
As an added bonus, the downloadable program is free.
There are books like Super Scratch Programming, which we are going to order this week, to help show how the basics work or you can view the countless YouTube tutorials or scour the forums on the Scratch website.
We will let you know how things go once we have a few days to try it out.
