The biggest wrestling event of the year is only a few days away.
Wrestlemania 34 will take place this weekend and will have the attention of the wrestling world as the WWE world descends upon New Orleans.
This year as opposed to Wrestlemania 33, there feels to be more excitement about the matches this year. Well for the majority of them.
There are several matches on the list that have potential to be the match of the year. We just have to hope they live up to the potential.
As always, we are by no means experts, we just like trying to figure what the creative minds at WWE have in store for us.
On to our Wrestlemania 34 predictions.
John Cena vs The Undertaker
We are more intrigued if the Undertaker does not show up to see how John Cena handles being in the crowd. Honestly the best way would be for Cena to be sitting with some fans then the Undertaker’s music hits.
Andre the Giant Battle Royal
There are not too many big guys hanging around, so we might see Big Cass or even Mark Henry show up and take the spot. Might be a good way for Henry to go out.
Women’s Battle Royal
We would be surprised if the last two are not Banks and Bayley. Let the two battle it out for like ten minutes before Bayley upsets the Boss and knocks her out for the win.
Daniel Byran/Shane McMahon vs Sami Zayn/Kevin Owens
Bryan returns to the ring and supposedly he is on the same page as Shane. This remains to be seem and we expect one of them to backstab the other as KO and Zayn earn the win.
The Bar vs Braun Strowman / TBD RAW Tag Team Titles
We have been a fan of the Bar but the approach with Braun and his mystery partner has us curious. We don’t think the big guy is meant to languish in the tag team division so this will not last long before he goes after Reigns. The Bar wins.
The Usos vs The New Day vs The Bludgeon Brothers Smackdown Tag Team Titles
The match would have been better with our the Bludgeon Brothers but we can take it. This is going to be one of the best of the nights. Expect the Bludgeon Brothers to sneak out a w in and the titles.
Randy Orton vs Bobby Roode vs Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev United Stated Championship
In the early stages, this match felt like it had some potential but now it feels like it is getting crowded. Rusev should have a great entrance but it won’t be enough to stop Roode from coming away with a win.
The Miz vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Bálor Intercontinental Championship
This match has been at the top of our list since they started the three way feud. Each man has been on mark and should prove to be the best match of the night. The Miz is going to retain because he is awesome, or so he says.
Ronda Rousey / Kurt Angle vs Stephanie McMahon / Triple H
There is a lot of hype for this match but there is a potential for too much. This match will go Ronda’s way but it should be just enough to showcase a few things she can do while earning the win over Stephanie.
Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jax RAW Women’s Championship
Even if you like Ms. Bliss, it will be hard to pull for her based on the way the WWE creative team has set up this match. Jax should win though it may be from a disqualification.
Charlotte Flair vs Asuka Smackdown Women’s Championship
Something will have to give. Flair’s steak on PPV events or Asuka’s overall streak. Flair is going to be on the wrong end and lose the title. The empress of tomorrow will reign.
AJ Styles vs Shinsuke Nakamura WWE Championship
This pairing is going to be a close second to the best match of the night. It will worthwhile seeing these two going at it after the subtle buildup. Since we think Styles is jumping to RAW, Nakumura should be coming away with the title.
Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns Universal Championship
There is little left to discuss on what is the only sure thing of the night. The bigger question would be will there be more boo birds than people cheering for Roman.
