The Blue brand is planning on building the momentum after the Royal Rumble this weekend but is there enough in the tank for success?
We have reached the hump point between the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, so that means it is time to share our Elimination Chamber 2017 predictions.
This event was not a good sign for most years, but things have changed.
This time around, the Smackdown brand has set up some interesting matches to forward storylines going into the big March event.
Before heading on to our Elimination Chamber 2017 predictions, just remember we are by no means experts and love doing this for fun.
Randy Orton vs. Luke Harper
“Brothers” square off in this one as Harper appears to be out from under the control of Wyatt., We don’t think it will be enough to let old wild eyes win the match. Orton is going to earn a win and some swagger for Wrestlemania.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Apollo Crews / Kalisto
The handicap match is a strange one since it appears the minds of the WWE creative team are unsure who to let Ziggler focus on. Either way, we think the Heel is going to keep his streak going with a win over his two opponents.
Becky Lynch vs. Micki James
The Lass Kickers is raring to go and to knock James back into the decade she came from. While we would love to see this, there is no way James is going to leave this match without a win. Expect to see the feud to continue to boil over the coming months.
Natayla vs. Nikki Bella
The two ladies have been going at it for the last few months. Brawl after brawl has broken out when these two get near each other. Hopefully the minds at WWE let them to have an all out battle and put it to rest with Nikki ending out on top.
Alexa Bliss vs. Naomi
Glow power is back as Naomi attempts to take the Woman’s Championship from Bliss. Bliss has been slowly improving in the ring, shame she is not as good as her promos are. She should have no problem in retaining the title.
Tag Team Turmoil
The Tag Team Championship of American Alpha is on the line in the mess but honestly we do not think it matters. Week after week we have seen large scale matches between the various tag teams. Yet it seems there is no clear direction so American Alpha should win.
Elimination Chamber Match
The six combatants are eager to earn the chance to be called champion by the end of the night. We do not see The Miz, Dean Ambrose, John Cena, or AJ Styles being on the short list, despite some of their recent work. Baron Corbin looks like a decent option but Bray Wyatt should come away with the title to set up a match with Orton at Wrestlemania.
