Since 1999 No Mercy has given wrestling fans some amazing memories and the 2016 edition looks to add to them this coming Sunday.
The wrestlers of Smackdown will be on center stage this Sunday with their solo PPV event, which means it is time to share our No Mercy 2016 predictions.
We did okay with our WWE Backlash Predictions and it serves as a reminder how we are by no means experts on this.
We are fine with it since we have a blast trying to figure things out, even when there are those time we swing and miss.
Enough rabble, on to the No Mercy 2016 Predictions.
Nikki Bella vs Carmella
The two woman have been developing a decent rivalry in recent weeks with some excellent heel work from Carmella. They are continuing to show why Smackdown’s Woman division is above the one on Raw. Bella is going to lose this one due to a DQ.
Baron Corbin vs Jack Swagger
One of the newest additions to Smackdown, Swagger is taking on the Lone Wolf. We do not expect any A+ match but we should get to see some good power moves on the mat. Corbin is going to earn a win but we are not sure how much it will help.
Health Slater/Rhyno vs The Usos Tag Team Championship
This is a tough one to call because we love the direction both of them have been going., We think the Beauty and the Beast have run their course and it is time for the Usos to continue their heel ways and earn the belts.
Becky Lynch vs Alexa Bliss WWE Smackdown Woman’s Championship
The Lasskicker is ready to defend her title against Bliss who has stepped up her game as a heel. The two have a good dynamic in and out of the ring and it will show on Sunday. Becky is not going to lose her belt this soon but Bliss will show why she is not a one hit wonder.
Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt
The feud has picked up steam this week and is probably going to conclude at No Mercy. Based on what we have been seeing, Orton is in line for a win and that is a problem for Wyatt fans. They continue to misuse him and fail to give him any kind of real victory. If he loses, it might be time to reset the character or dump it.
The Miz vs Dolph Ziggler Intercontinental Championship
Ziggler is either going to leave as a new Intercontinental champion or we will see his career end on Sunday. This intriguing storyline is coming to an end this weekend and while we would love to see Ziggler with the belt, we see him riding off into the proverbial sunset as the Miz continues to win.
A.J. Styles vs Dean Ambrose vs John Cena WWE World Championship
The triple threat match features a trio of wrestlers who have already been the champion. Styles will be trying to leave No Mercy as the champ but does he have a chance? We don’t see Cena or Ambrose taking away the belt any time soon as the new Face Who Runs the Place is victorious.
