The WWE 2016 calendar season comes to an end with this final PPV featuring the RAW roster.
Sure Roadblock 2016 is the follow-up to Survivor Series but it has the chance to set the stage for future WWE storylines as we head towards the Royal Rumble.
As always, we are by no means experts when it comes to the wrestling world. We just love trying to predict what will happen.
On to the Roadblock 2016 predictions.
Big Cass vs. Rusev
Rusev has been toying around with Big Cass’ running buddy but now he gets the big guy. There is going to be nothing fancy here, just two big guys smashing each other. Cass should do enough an earn a win against the Bulgarian Brute.
Rick Swann vs. TJ Perkins vs. The Brian Kendrick Cruiserweight Championship
Swann has brought some new life to the Cruiserweight title and we are glad to see this become a three way battle. His presence should be enough to help elevate all three men and give us an entertaining bout. Swann should retain when it is all said and done.
Seth Rollins vs. Chris Jericho
The plan is for Rollins to dismantle Jericho and remove him from the picture and give him a clear shot at the champion. Jericho has been solid as of late but he will not have enough tricks in the bag to earn a win
New Day vs. Cesaro & Sheamus Tag Team Championship
New Day showed what they had by beating the odds and breaking the record for the long Tag team title reign. This will come to an end on Sunday when Cesaro & Sheamus continue their push to the top with a victory. We are more curious where New Day will go from here.
Sami Zayn vs. Braun Strowman
Zayn finally got the match he wanted against Strowman but the question is can he last 30 minutes. We have seen Strowman squash countless opponents but it will be different this time around. Zayn is going to score a win by lasting the time required. What shape he will be in is anyone’s guess.
Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair Woman’s Championship
The two women have put on an amazing matches and we do not expect anything less in this 30 minute Iron Man match. There is little doubt that the flow of the match will change several times, but in the end we think Sasha is going to retain her title.
Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns Universal Championship
This match will feature Reigns, the US Champion, as he tries to be a dual champion if he can earn a win against Owens. It looks like they are building something with Jericho so we do not see KO losing the title this time around. Rather just their friendship continuing to dwindle.
