On Sunday, wrestling fans will get to witness the ninth edition of this brutal WWE event where the focus is Tables, Ladders, & Chairs.
Smackdown has the chance to shine with the upcoming WWE TLC 2016 but will they be able shine with the limited wrestling talent?
The TLC events have been solid in recent years and especially when it comes to some creative uses of the tables, ladders, and chairs. We would be lying if we said we had some worries about this trend continuing in 2016.
As a reminder, by no means are we experts with wrestling. Just take a look at our Survivor Series predictions. We were hit or miss but we never plan on being right 100% of the time.
With that being said, here is how we expect TLC 2016 t o shape up.
Kalisto vs. Corbin
The Chairs match is still a puzzling one because of the two wrestlers involved. The right decision here would be to see Corbin break Kalisto and move on to another meaningful match. Not sure if we are going to see that happen.
Nikki Bella vs. Carmella
This No Disqualification match should be an interesting one as the feud between these two finally comes to an end. Carmella has played the heel role well enough to put Nikki over for the next run at the title.
The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler
The Intercontinental Championship is on the line again in this ladder match. Ziggler has excelled at ladder matches in the past, but we don’t see the Miz losing the title any time soon. We should see a fitting end to this long standing feud.
Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch
Wrestling fans might be seeing the best show of the night between these two. Bliss has been on fire as the heel chasing the title, while Lynch has been representing. Honestly this could go either way, but in the end we think Bliss will take the title home and create more havoc.
Heath Slate / Rhyno vs. Bray Wyatt/Randy Orton
The Tag Team titles are up for grabs in this interesting match. We are still slightly amazed the champions have held on this long in a tag team division that has been strengthening. That should change by the end of the night where Bray and Randy bring the belts home.
AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose
The Styles and Ambrose feud appears to be heading into the sunset with this World Championship match. Styles is going to bring his A game and will be pushed to the brink by Ambrose. We think James Ellsworth will get involved and cost Dean a shot.
