One of the announcements we were excited for from E 3 2015 was the upcoming Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2.
We have been a big fan of the original Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare and were hoping for something like this since the game has hit a brick wall.
First take a look at the official trailer for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 then read about our review below.
Now you have had a chance to relishing the goodness of the Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2, on to our analysis.
For starters, we like the intro of the video where we see suburbia be replaced by zomburbia.
Right off the bat, we are introduced to some new characters, the Weeds and Captain Deadbeard. The Weeds look to be annoying more than anything while the Captain looks like he will be able to hold his own against the plants.
We had a good chuckle when we got to see the Rose turned the Tennis Star into a goat. Reminded us of the Sheeping ability of Mages from World of Warcraft.
Power Boy and I liked the back to back fighting by Colonel Corn and Super Brainz until they found out who was behind them.
How could you not love the Imp when he comes hopping in and shooting like a manic to some awesome music? Though we were not sure of his survivability.
One cool thing we saw at the 1:05 mark was the Metal Pea Shooter who is chasing down a zombie in the background.
We were a bit shocked when Citron joined the fray only because he barely resembles what we have come to love from PvZ2. At first we thought it was a newly created character until the Wiki enlightened us. This should be an interesting one to see how they play out.
The Imp decided to call in the big guns and made a phone home for his Z-Mech. I for one know someone who is going to play the heck out of this character in Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2.
The one downside to this is we will have to wait until Spring 2016 for the release of Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2.
Be sure to check back when we share some of the game play footage to keep us on the edge of our seats.
