The game has taken over in a few weeks but is everything is right in the world of Pokemon?
The Pokemon Go trend has captured interest around the world and our household was no exception but is it not all that it can be.
One of the amazing things about this game has to be how it has captured the attention of a broad base. We have seen parents running around with or without their kids and teenagers coming out in droves. It is refreshing.
Pokemon was never a big draw in our household but we knew enough to draw us in.
Let’s move to our review of Pokemon Go.
Right off the bat, the first thing we love about the game is how interactive Nintendo made it. When was the last time you saw a mobile game that was able to get people up and about rather than sitting at home on the couch? We have noticed a definite increase in people out when we do our evening walks.
Another aspect we like about the game is the merging of the virtual and real world. We had a blast shifting our position. This way we could take some interesting pictures with the Pokemon before we captured them.
There are some negative games about this mobile game.
For starters, we know it is a major battery drain because it draws a lot from your phone. The last thing you want to do is for your phone to die on you right when you are able to capture a Pikachu.
Another downer is the server status. There have been a few times when we have not be able to connect and this made our Pokemon hunts less than fun.
The last thing is an iffy one. Right now there is little to do once you reach the end game aside from hatching eggs. This could be a temporary thing since Nintendo is sure to have a plan to keep the game revelant.
In the end, Pokemon Go is going to be the top mobile game of 2016 and for good reason. If you have not jump on the proverbial bandwagon, do not wait much longer.
You will notice we did not talk about people walking off a cliff or someone getting robbed because of the game. These are anomalies we do not seem them as an epidemic where it would force everyone to stop playing.
Let us know what you think of Pokemon Go and are there any changes you would make?
