Star Wars The Black Series Rancor Looks Amazing

One of the highlights of the Return of the Jedi.

Hasbro Pulse created the crowdfunding project Star Wars The Black Series Rancor that stands head and shoulders above the rest.

We know the Star Wars fan base is rabid for any kind of collectibles and this is sure something that may be right up their alley.

The Black Series Rancor Figure with an arm span of 42 inches from talon to talon, a height of 17.5 inches, and the ability to extend to be 27 inches tall with arms raised up. This figure has over 45 points of articulation to help recreate your favorite scenes. 

The set has some impressive tiers which include things like a Gamorrean Guard and Jedi Luke Skywalker.

 

We do love what they did with the Rancor. The amount of articulation is astounding and helps to position it just about any way you want. 

The Tier levels are nice, but we wished it would have been something included with the set. Why?

The downside is the price tag. Coming in at $349.99 is a bit steep and might steer some people away. If you do, the Rancor will be released Spring 2023.

Currently there are 16 days left for the project to hit the 9,000 backers and they are over 50% of the way there. We are curious to see if it will make it by the deadline. If we were a betting man, we might say this one will miss the mark.
