Just when you think it is lost.
Season 8 has been underway for Sea of Thieves and pirates around the world can rejoice with the return of on demand PVP.
The new changes are an improvement upon the original Arena play. While we were disappointed when they removed it, thankfully Rare was working on behind the scenes to give us something better.
The time has come to pledge our allegiance to either Servants of the Flame or Guardians of Fortune.
Earn reputation by destroying the opposition or turning in treasure from your victories.
Oh yes, the new skins you can earn for either side are a welcome sight. We prefer the Ghost skin but will be going after the Skeleton skin first.
Though there are some small kinks to work out, overall we are more than pleased with the process.
In the end, we have to admit, things look like they are continuing in the right direction for a game we love.
Hopefully Rare continues this trend and brings new things to keep our days as a pirate fun.
