Did you ever hear about the G-Fest XXII convention taking place in Chicago, IL from July 10th to July 12th where all Godzilla fans can unite?
It is okay if you did not, we had not either until we went to the Motor City Comic Con back in May. We were checking out the Artist Alley and came across one who shared our love of Godzilla. During our conversation they suggested to check out G-Fest to see if it was something we might like.
After a quick search, we came across the website for G-Fest XXII and we must say, at first glance we were hooked. As an added bonus, the event was taking place the weekend before someone’s eleventh birthday.
The convention has something for everyone for all fans of Godzilla. We had a better idea of what to do when the schedule of events was recently posted. Power Boy has been busying planning our day. There is a video game tournament he wants to check out and even a Kaiju modeling session he wants to attend. Oh as an added bonus, they are featuring several Godzilla movies throughout the day.
We know for sure a break of some sorts will be needed during the day otherwise we won’t make it until the end.
