This was something we never knew we needed, until now.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderland has been out for over a month and we thought it was time to share our thoughts on the anticipated game.
The players get to venture back to the Assault on Dragon’s Keep and see where things left off.
But does it work?
The graphics are on point and jokes abound throughout. But on to the few things that had our attention.
Would the character classes live up to the hype. So far they have. We like the ability to mix and match classes together. Sure on paper some look worse, but we have seen how they tweak the game during it’s lifespan, so who knows what will be the top class down the road.
We were unsure how the magic spell system was going to work, have to admit we are pleased with how it played out. It made sense to have them replace the Grenade spot.
They mentioned character design would be brought in and Gearbox did not disappoint. This is something we have wanted to see in past games and they came through this time. I mean we made a Spore Warden who looked like a giant mushroom.
Does it feel like some of the other games in the Borderlands franchise? Sure, there is no way to get around that but that is a good thing. After all, this is based on the DLC from B2.
The main story could have been a little better, something we hoped would have changed from B3.
Some of our hopes for Tiny Tina did come true. We would definitely recommend this game to any fans of the Gearbox Borderlands franchise or those looking to play a different style of shooter.
