What We Hope to See in Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker

Can the final movie bring things full circle and close out it our properly?

The Star Wars Saga comes to an end but before we go into the sunset, there are a few things we hope to see in Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker.

On the whole, all nine movies have been an amazing feat. The story from start to finish has been an intriguing one, but it has not gone without some issues.   In our eyes, there is a lot riding on the Rise of Skywalker in terms of how the entire set is viewed.

There are a few things we hope to see in Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker next week.

The Rey Arc – This character has been an intriguing one since the Force Awakens kicked things off. If some of the trailers are right and Rey may be a clone for the Emperor, then this could quiet a lot o the naysayers about what Rey has been able to do through two movies. Otherwise, it feels like it was a waste.

The Original Characters – We do understand that they are trying to move forward with another core group of characters, It makes sense on a number of levels. There is a little bit of hope they do not kill off all of our favorites by the time the credits roll. Good luck Chewie and Lando.

Consistency –  J.J. Abrams is back at the helm and it should help with the over all flow of the movie. Not that I did not enjoy what they did with the Last Jedi but it felt off. Hopefully this time around we get to see what Abrams true vision was for the trilogy he started.

New Angles – Some of our beef with the newest Star Wars movies has been the nostalgic factor. At times it feels like it is mirror the first three movies and that is okay. We just hope they do not rely upon it heavily in the final movie.

Our tickets have been purchased and we are ready.

What do you hope to see from Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker?
