WWE Battleground is taking place this weekend along with our chance to share our thoughts on the outcome.
By no means are we experts in the WWE universe but just enjoying sharing what we think the writers have come up with.
R-Truth vs. King Bad News Barrett The pre-show match for WWE Battleground will have the crown on the line for Truth and Barrett. While the ongoing feud has been amusing at times, it will be good to see it end this weekend with Barrett being left as the one true king.
Prime Time Players vs. New Day It has been refreshing to see Prime Time Players having fun with their title run but New Day is looking to end it. While New Day has filled the feel role nicely, PTP should maintain the title for at least once more month.
Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns This weird feud started at Money in the Bank and has continued to deepen. Since Reigns title chances have been put on hiatus with the return of Lesnar, Bray should earn the win and become relevant again.
Randy Orton vs. Sheamus This filler match for WWE Battleground is between two vets who will be going through the motions. If they are both on, then it should be a decent match with Sheamus continuing his winning ways.
Ryback vs. Big Show, vs. The Miz The three way battle for the Intercontinental Championship is an intriguing one since the Miz was added. We do not think Ryback’s reign will be cut short by the Miz even though we expect to see him do something underhanded.
John Cena vs. Kevin Owens The rubber match between Cena and Owens is an interesting one.The door is open for Owens to take the US Title. Owens has been running the heel route perfectly and while we expect to see him hoist the belt, don’t blink when we see these two meet at Summer Slam.
Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar The Beast makes his return and will be ready to take on the WWE champion Rollins who will be missing Kane and J & J Security. Rollins is going to do what he can to keep the belt, which means we could see a DQ here. When that happens, Triple HHH just might come out and show Rollins how displeased he is.
** After Smackdown this Thursday we might see a woman’s match added to the WWE Battleground card. **
