Money in the Bank has been a mainstay in the WWE PPV events and the upcoming one has a chance to be a doozy.
We are less than a week away from Money in the Bank 2016 and we thought it would be the perfect time to share our predictions for the WWE event.
As always, we are far from perfect and just enjoying trying to figure out where the collective WWE minds are going to spin us.
On to our Money in the Bank 2016 predictions.
Sheamus vs. Apollo Crews If there is a time for WWE to push Crews, it will be right here. This might be a semi-interesting match with the heel Sheamus and Crews but odds are it will be a snooze-fest.
Golden Truth vs. Breezedango No one should be surprised this tag team match is on the slate. This weird story-line has been interesting one sort. We expect to see Golden Truth continue to develop their teamwork as they dance their way into the hearts of the WWE Universe.
Rusev vs. Titus O’Neal We are glad to see O’Neil back in the ring but he has to the Bulgarian Brute in his way. This will be a match of pure powerhouse strength. The US Champion will retain the belt by the time the match is over.
John Cena vs. AJ Styles The supposed new faces of Smackdown square off and could prove to be an interesting one. You would expect a Cena win, but if WWE was smart, Styles should get back on the winning track. The feud is just heating up.
Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch The WWE division was supposed to be revitalized but has been dribbled down to a couple of competitors. Good thing one of our favorite, Lynch, will be featured against Charlotte. Shame we do not expect to see much time given to what could be a decent match.
Fatal Four Way Tag Team Title The interesting match presents us with a plethora of teams. Despite this, all of them do not have a real chance. The Vaudevillains and Enzo & Cass are still too green behind the ears to carry the belt. We have been enjoying New Day more and more, we think Gallows and Anderson will grab the belt as the Club begins to rampage through the WWE.
Money in the Bank Six men are vying for the coveted briefcase and each one has a reason to believe they deserve it. Only a few of them have a real chance, Kevin Owens and Cesaro. We would prefer to see the Swiss Superman coming, but expect to see KO with the briefcase under his arm.
Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins The WWE title is on the line in the main even. Rollins returned and fans opened their arms wide for him. This may eventually spell the demise for Reign’s title run, but not the first time out. We should see a solid match between the two and it may go a long way to helping Regin will over the crowd.
