WWE Payback 2016 Predictions

For the fans still stinging from Wrestlemania 32, there might be something to look forward to with the WWE Payback 2016.

This will be our second time around for the WWE PPV event and must say we have some high hopes for Payback 2016. Though as we have seen in the past, things can go horribly wrong.

This event has been built up thanks to the changes WWE has made to the RAW showing by infusing some new talent into the mix from the NXT level.

Just about everything looks good on paper, but we are concerned to see they will move forward with the new talent or revert back to their old ways.

As always, by no means are we experts, just a father and son who enjoy watching WWE and taking it for what it is. On to our predictions.

Kalisto vs. Ryback (United States Championship) The old David and Goliath battle has been done countless times and this is their second go around. Ryback continues his heel turn but with a belt.

Enzo/Cass vs. The Vaudevillains Both of these fresh tag team faces have brought their unique flair to the WWE and will be taking aim to by the top contender for the Tag Team Title. Enzo/Cass bring a better match against New Day, in the ring and on the mic.

Charlotte vs. Natalya (Women’s Championship) The title is on the line and it looks like the champ will need to do it on her own since Hart will keep an eye on Ric Flair. Natalya is going to come home with the belt, but it wont last long, maybe a week at best.

Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens Two BFF’s who have become mortal enemies will square off this Sunday. We dig what Zayn is able to bring out of KO and should sneak out with a surprise win over him.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin Speed against strength. Corbin has had his way with Ziggler and we do not expect to see anything different this time around.

Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho The battle of the WWE talk show hosts. Jericho has continues to his ole massive ego self while Ambrose has continued to rebound after losing to Lesnar. The Asylum will rest easy with a win.

The Miz vs. Cesaro (Intercontinental Championship) The return of the Swiss Superman has been a welcome sight and he has been solid in the ring. In a typical one on one match, he would earn the title, but Maryse is going to make sure her hubby wins.

Control of Raw – Shane has been running Raw despite the loss at Wrestlemania 32, but Vince is going to change it, or will he? We think the Authority run is done for a bit and Shane will have another month.

Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles (World Heavyweight Championship) The man who is booed every week will have the last laugh when he nabs a win over Styles. There may be some outside interference but it will not change what WWE management wants, a Roman Empire.
