There are a few days away from the marquee wrestling event of the summer, making this the perfect time for our WWE SummerSlam 2015 Predictions. We would have gotten these too you sooner but were still basking in the WWE Detroit Summer Live.
But enough of reminiscing, on towards our predictions. As we have mentioned before, we are novice fans of the WWE and by no means think we are experts.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev – The two men square off after some time away. Ziggler looked good on Raw and should be ready to take down the Bulgarian Brute.Don’t forget about the woman in each of their corners, we don’t think they will be quiet all night.
Stephen Amell / Neville vs. Stardust / King Barrett – Maybe on another day this match would be interesting but it seems like it was thrown together for a shameless Green Arrow plug. Given than, both Arrows should win this match.
Bray Wyatt / Luke Harper vs. Roman Reigns / Dean Ambrose – The feud has continue to deepen over the last few weeks and should prove to be one of the best matches of the night While some folks think Ambrose is going to turn heel on Reigns, we think Erick Rowan is going to return to the Wyatt family.
Intercontinental Triple Threat Match – We finally get the chance to see the match we had expected at the Battlegrounds. The Miz looks to get in the way but it will come down to the Big Guy and the Big Show. Look for the champ to retain his belt.
Randy Orton vs. Sheamus – When it came to our WWE SummerSlam 2015 Predictions, this math threw us for a loop. There appears to be little here despite the quality level of both men. Orton should earn a win but Sheamus will come out the victor for the first of two times this night.
Divas Tag Team Elimination Match – The Divas division has been ramped up since the addition of the ladies from NXT. Since there is no title on the line, look for the team of Paige, Charlotte, and Becky to make the other teams submit.
Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way – This match feels like a repeat of the Elimination Chamber without the danger. We dig Prime Time Players, but have a feeling New Day is going to get the belts back and heat up the rivalry between them.
Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro – Owens has played the heel role to perfection and Cesaro has won over more of the WWE Universe. The Swiss Superman is going to continue his winning streak and build upon this fued.
John Cena vs. Seth Rollins – This title for title match is intriguing, especially since Rollins broke the Champ’s nose. It would be nice to see Cena earn the belt for the 16th time but we are thinking Mr. MIB will make an entrance and sneak out with the title and Cena will retain the US belt.
Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker The main even of this event should be a good one. WWE fans get to see a rematch of two titans and it is a shame only one can win. The WWE heads are going to want to keep Suplex City moving but we don’t see him earn an outright win. Maybe someone interferes and starts a new feud.
